An Sean Tigh is a very old, round cornered former croft house, built possibly in the late 18th century. We have lovingly restored it, keeping the exterior as original as possible whilst transforming the inside into a light and airy two bedroomed self catering cottage with its own parking area.

kitchen area The cottage is on our working croft of 15 acres and situated well away from the nearest road.The croft is a mixture of rough grazing and woodland, rich in wild flowers and bird life. We keep pigs, Highland cattle, an assortment of poultry and various cats and dogs. Twin Bedroom
We are ideally situated for exploring the spectacular Ardnamurchan peninsula, with its abundance of flora and fauna, the lovely Loch Sunart, long sandy beaches and the ancient Sunart Oakwoods, to mention just a few of the area's attractions

sitting room & dining area The cottage has a double and a twin bedroom, with a sleeping platform for extra bodies. There is a very well equipped living room/kitchen with dining area. The hall has ample space for coats and boots. double bedroom

 The bathroom has a bath and separate shower.
The cottage has tiled floors throughout to ensure the maximum benefit from the underfloor heating, and to eliminate the worry of wet and dirty feet on carpets! For those who cannot contemplate a holiday without a fire to play with, there is a multifuel stove in the sitting room. There is a garden and sitting area around the cottage, although for this year the term garden is not wholly justified, but we are working on it!

 The cottage is equipped with the following appliances. Dishwasher, double oven electric cooker with gas hob,washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, microwave, SatelliteTV/DVD/Video.
The oil fired heating and electricity are included in the weekly rent as are all bedding and towels. A cot and high chair are available and your children are welcome. Pets welcome by arrangement. There are two shops in the nearby village , one of which is licensed, which can supply all your grocery and household needs.
